“I grew up fishing in the St Augustine area. It’s helped provide the knowledge I have in fishing today.

Now, it’s time and I am excited to share that experience with all of you on a fishing charter!”

St Augustine Fishing Charter Seasons

January

Winter in St Augustine is all about clear skies and clear waters and big bass on St Johns River. This is the dry season, and it is great for sight fishing the flats. Bring layers temperature swings from the 30s to 70s during the day.

February

Spawning bass on Rodman & St Johns River, Sight fishing inshore remains excellent, with Black Drum and Redfish being caught in large schools on the flats. Offshore, Wahoo and Tuna are biting well.

March

The weather transitions to spring, and the fishing wakes up. Trout start to spawn, with bigger ones being caught. Jack Crevalle start to invade inshore and the backcountry, and Cobia start to appear.

April

Things really start to pick up offshore, with large numbers and large sizes of Mahi Mahi making their way back to the St Augustine docks. Rainfall is low and temperatures are pleasant at 70-80 degrees.

May

As the waters warm up, St Augustine experiences some of the best offshore fishing in Florida. Celebrate with Summer Fishing Tournaments. The rainy season begins now with afternoon showers.

June

We booked 2 fishing trips... emailed with Lori months before the planned trip - she was super patient and super helpful. When we finally arrived the weather was not in our favor, we were in Jacksonville for a week and it was rain and thunderstorms every day! not ideal for fishing..... Lori and the Captains were amazing - both captains called us everyday with an update on the weather and did their best to re schedule the trips, the were very patient and very kind...... we ended up doing the trips - my husband was very pleased, caught many fish, Captain's were awesome, very knowledgeable, very friendly and very professional I highly recommend!!!!
